Jenny Beechener

Jenny Beechener is editor of Jane’s Air Traffic Control and a regular contributor to Jane’s Airport Review. Jenny began her career as a transport journalist in 1985, and has worked for publishers including Lloyds List and Financial Times Newsletters. She joined Euromoney as assistant editor of Airport Support and managing editor of Air Traffic Management in 1992, and moved to Jane’s Information Group in 1995 as editor of Jane’s Airport Review, the industry’s leading global airport business magazine. Jenny became editor of Jane’s Air Traffic Control in 2007 and undertakes freelance assignments and research projects in the air traffic control market.


Ben Vogel
Editor, Jane's Airport Review

Ben Vogel has edited Jane’s Airport Review since 2007 and is a regular contributor on aviation security to Jane’s Homeland Security Review. Ben joined Jane’s in 2002 after four years in book and directory publishing. Following three years as a sub-editor on the Jane’s range of defence and transport titles, he edited the Janes.com website from 2005-07, and wrote for Jane’s Defence Industry and Jane’s Defence Weekly. Ben has an MA in History from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University.

Erwin Lassooij
Activity Chief - ANS, ICAO

Mr. Lassooij works for the Air Navigation Bureau of the International Civil Aviation Organization. He is the Acting Chief of the CNS Section, programme manager for Performance based Navigation in ICAO as well as the manager for flight procedures. In this capacity he is the Secretary for PBN Study Group) and the Instrument Flight Procedure Panel (IFPP) Mr. Lassooij has a Masters degree in aerospace engineering from the Technical University in Delft, The Netherlands. Before his tenure in ICAO, Mr. Lassooij was deputy head of flight technical affairs in the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority. Mr. Lassooij also holds a private pilot licence.
