Jane’s World Defence Industry Survey 2010: Uncertainty and optimism

Intense competition, shifting customer requirements; new fiscal realities; greater consolidation; plus the challenges of raising capital are among the topics explored by Jane’s World Defence Industry Survey 2010.
More than 300 companies globally – with payrolls ranging from fewer than 100 employees to more than 10,000 and exposure to all major military domains – were surveyed by Jane’s during the early months of 2010 on subjects including market exposure ; confidence; employment expectations; access to finance; the principal challenges facing individual organisations and the industry as a whole; corporate priorities; and spending expectations.
